Anna Emilia Laitinen lives in Finland. She marvels at all the trees growing there. The weather gives the colour to her paintings. When she paints she thinks of all the faraway places the wind reaches and hopes to hear from them. She enjoys finding connections between nature and the ones living in it, collecting them as memories on a soft cotton paper.

Red Cap Cards is a celebration of art and correspondence from Los Angeles based husband-and-wife team Hal Mertz and Carrie Gifford.
